Registered nurses
The Sacramento Metro area is rapidly growing in population, requiring expansion of critical services such as healthcare. Registered nurses are among the most in-demand occupations in the region and across the state. And while telehealth capabilities improve each year, a substantial portion of nursing work simply can only be done in person. Growth in the nursing occupation should therefore continue, particularly as the region and state face an aging population.
